Would actually prefer to have darker pubes: I think trimmed pubes looks the best on any man (like this) but when I trim it looks like I'm shaved because my pubes are so blonde, almost translucent.

I am with you man... Mine are very light but more golden red than yours, and I keep them trimmed short because I don't have a dense amount of hair and it looks bad full length to me anyway. Trimmed I look totally shaved from more than 5' away because the hair is almost the same color as my skin.
