Guys with Red Hair?

There was a thread on this not to long ago, I am a red head and I love it. I wonder if it has something to do with genetics, Red hair is a partial dominent gene (I think?) so maybe if you have a matching gene you have a preference towards them?.

I'm pretty certain red hair is recessive, not dominant, gene.

Regardless, the redheads I've known have been average or small, but then I hang out in the bear community, where 'beardick' is the norm.

Well you can't really have a partial dominant gene, it's either dominant or recessive, although some genes have incomplete dominance and stuff like that, and I know no one would like me to get into biology and genetics because I myself hate it. Judging from the lack of people I see with red hair it's probably recessive.

I'm way more blond than red up top, you can only tell in sunlight. My pubes are obviously red because they never see the sunlight ;-)

On that note I'm extremely horny as well. So for me the stereotype is correct.

I'm not sure if reds are TRULY larger than the rest. It would be hard to prove I guess.

My worry has always been...are reds looked down upon as strange given the hair colour. I've always been easy to pick out - everyone ALWAYS knows my name. But does that translate to more action for other redheads ie. I'm not particularily outgoing.

?? May come as a surprise to you, but we dull and boring brown haired/brown eyed people are always worried about appearing dull. How many blonds dye their hair to brown versus how many browns dye to blond? Less than 10% and usually it's done for novelty, meaning they go back to being blond pretty quickly. Blonds DO have more fun. Reds are just the same.

Blond and red hair are two of the rarest, more remarkable colorations in the entirety of the human population. Brown is vastly more common than either. What you have is something striking and desirable because of that rarity. Blond appears to have developed as a survival trait. Blonds survived because they were desirable and hence, chosen more readily as mates. Reds got the same deal.

Don't ever think you're weird or looked-down on for your coloration. You have a rare and precious gene that adds that bit of spice (ginger maybe?) to the kaleidoscope of humanity.

I'm hung and my natural hair color is a strawberry blonde, so I guess I fit into this catagory; however, not that i think about it i cant recall if have ever seen a red head nude in person. Ill have to keep an eye out.
