Hey guys,

Does anyone have any recommendations for gyms in Hammersmith or the surrounding areas?

Nothing too small or too busy with a good amount of kit would be great.

Any help would be much appreciated.

It honestly depends on how much you can spend really because there's plenty to choose from

Main thing is to find a gym with plenty of kit, that I don't have to stand around waiting to use. Not something that has one squat rack, bench and deadlift platform that's always in use.

Anything over £80 would be too much and I'd obviously prefer cheaper than that.

Hey, did you find anything interesting in Hammersmith? Looking for the same - want to change mine, new motivation to workout and get fit.

.. Im all in with good propositions for new year. Thinking of training with a PT now. Maybe will be more effective this time?

Hey dude,

Messaged you last month in response to your first question. Nothing yet, still looking but will join somewhere new in January. Any recommendations?

Well, in Hammersmith there are few but always packed (especially after working hours). Virgin and FF basically similar prices with plenty of classes. PureGym is cheaper but poor classes. Better gym is very old and I did not really liked it..

My point though is to find an alternative training. I'm kinda tired of doing gym machines in loop and some classes..

Yeah tried all them, either too busy when I wanna go or lacking in kit. And I hated Puregym so gonna look further a field.

Trying something different could be a good shout. There is an F45 but that’s stupidly expensive so there must be similar cheaper options around.

What?! Mm I'm really thinking to take pt sessions..

So maybe somewhere like Virgin or FF but with a PT would work. That way they could adapt the workout if you couldn’t get on certain kit.

Or just have a look at what else is nearby such as Fulham.

Fulham has plenty of gyms, I have heard the Charing Sport Centre is nice

I go to ff, small but has most equipments. Only reason I go there is because it never gets crowded, so the equipments are always available.

Used to live in Fulham and used David Lloyd, amazing gym massive, nice pool. And lots of celebs go there likes of David Gandy, Sam Webb, Jimmy Liang, one of the dancers from strictly and etc. Just a bit far now to go everyday, if not it’s still the best gym I’ve been to.

Hey man,

Thanks for the reply. Yeah i visited David Lloyd Fulham. Great gym but too far to go each time. Plus they tie you to a long term contract you can't get out of unless you move so far away that it's possible to go.

FF ain't bad, visited that too but quite small and busy when I was there - wish it was bigger.

Ye shame. Let me know where you ended up with, I am thinking of switching too.
