Dear God in heaven was she beautiful.... if her name wasn't Grace, and her title wasn't Serene, they should have been.

I'm so glad TCM did this tribute to her, showing some of her best scenes. She was just lovely. I wonder if she and Hedy Lamarr ever occupied the same room together. It must have been electric.

Take a few moments to watch this and see one of the greatest beauties to have ever lived.

    Thanks Jason!
I feel Grace Kelly was one of Hollywood's greatest actresses... talent wise as well?

I've always thought Hedy Lemar was the world's most beautiful woman. And, dear Grace has been matched by, of all absurd names, January Jones.

Indeed, Grace was so beautiful. Also Ava Gardner. I was born too late.

being from Philly we always still thought of Princess Grace as one of our own. I saw her once in Ocean City NJ when she would visit/vacation with her family in the summer..she was every bit as classy as she was beautiful.

Oh yes. She really grew into roles and she was at her best with Hitchcock. I think they understood each other better than any leading lady he had. He knew she was something far above his average actress. Others could fake high society, but Grace was the real deal and Hitch used that perfectly. She was a true leading lady, perhaps relentlessly typecast, yet a type she could do that no one else could match.

Jones doesn't have that inner bulwark of placid confidence that Kelly had. Jones simply lacks grace (so sue me). She's beautiful, yes, but her face isn't as symmetrical.

I have heard that. Glad to know she was like what she appeared to be.

I'd agree. Leigh was breath-taking. I found her cheeks a little too chipmunky for my taste. She was the perfect Scarlett.

Ava never did it for me. I don't know why. She never struck me as terribly beautiful or talented. She seemed very cold.

Its' funny that you should say that. In Mogambo Ava , as Honey, was the warm character whilst Grace was cold, stuck up Linda. I found Ava to be both beautiful and talented.
