I'm sorry if this has been asked before...but can you use hair removal cream 'down there'? I know you can for your bikini line, but I'm talking about the whole area...

I've read on the packets that it says don't use it on 'sensitive areas'..I don't want some kind of infection on my lady goods. I know guys use it on their penises, but that's a bit different I think.

Any advice would be great, thanks :)

wax, my dear. *actually, sugaring is what i use.. and is heaps less ouchies*

my skin is fair and sensitive.. not at all friendly to hair-napalm. :frown:
putting a depilatory on my where-the-sun-don't-shine isn't something i'm eager to test bunny for.

I've used a depilatory in various places before, but never "there." And I've had the same result: OUCH! Yes, the hair goes but is replaced by red, raw skin and blemishes. Not pleasant at all. But that's me, and I'm like MickeyLee. But I want to know all about sugaring, Darling.

I use Veet sensitive skin for that area - I make sure the inner labia are blocked off from getting creme on them because that would be really bad. In fact one time I didn't protect about a millimeter of mucous membrane and OWWWEEEE (though after some nappy rash creme and less than 48 hours I was A-OK).

I have never had any problems - with the normal hair growing skin aroud the vag reacting badly to the stuff. That's me - your mileage may, and probably will, vary.

Do a very small test patch on the crease between torso and leg.

    Thanks very much ladies!

I'm too much of a wuss to try waxing! And I just think I'd be too embarrassed to go somewhere to get it done. I know it's silly lol.
