I'm getting my hair cut on Friday and need some advice on what I should do! I don't want anything very short. Keep in mind that I have a chunky face. Also, I am not willing to have my hair colored or get any highlighting done. Please post pictures of ideas, if possible!!

    Thanks!!

well, with your criteria, the only thing you can do is get a trim or add some layers. you could add some bangs-- they are coming back in style and may help balance out your face a bit.

Mandee, anything that won't make your face look quite so round, would be beneficial. I think a sculpted short haircut similar to mine works very well on a "chunky" face. Then folks are looking at how great your hair looks!
Having long and straight hair, like in your photo, only puts the emphasis
on how round your face is.
Not trying to hurt your feelings luvs.

A short haircut would be better if you have a chunky face.

Okie dokie. Idk... I had short hair when I was younger and it just didn't suit me too well... but I'll keep it in mind. I kinda like this one Short Celebrity Hairstyles: Nicole Richie

    what do you think?

that would look adorable on you. i like the bangs-- they will make your forehead look smaller, and that length and the texturing on the bottom will help fill in your chin area. you seem to have a classic heart shaped face which that cut really works for.

Go to a hairdresser that has one of those gizmos where they take your photo then stick different hairstyles on you.

    Sorry!
That puts the emphasis on your facial shape again, with the cut coming to your chin, pointing to the face.
I would take S.P's or any of our advice an go shorter. I know you don't want to,but that cut isn't much different than basically what you have now,it surrounds your face.
Find a really good, recommended, hair stylist, and ask them to show you something different, than what you have.
Best wishes on the new style!

Like CB said that cut's pretty similar to what you have now, if you make one part of your face look wider the rest looks narrower in comparison, so if you feel you have a chubby face a shorter tousled hair cut might do better.

lol well I already booked an appointment and I think there are only like two places here that do hair. Three if you count the barbershop where my grandpa use to get his hair cut when he was still alive (but I believe they only do men's hair!!).

My mom has gone to the other place in town and didn't like it and said she couldn't understand what the ladies were saying (I think they spoke Spanish). Soooo yeah I guess I am just going to have to hope and pray that this person knows what they are doing. lol

Thank you to all of you for your advice!! :)

Awww. This banter is so cute. Really. It's funny that this conversation is happening on a website dedicated to big dicks.
I don't know much accentuating your face, but short hair is hot.
Most important thing about a stylist is communication. That's why I cut my own.

    This is my motto;
Find a good hairdresser, you stick with them until they croak!
In my opinion, there are very few hairdressers who are talented,in all the ways they need to be.
For instance,I never let white hairdressers/stylists touch my hair, ever!
They always think you can cut/style black hair, the same way, as a white persons hair. This cannot be done! The type of hair is quite different, and requires a certain skill, in using relaxers, hot combs, and curling irons.
Snoozan, I do love your cut though, that length would probably look good on her!
