lol hey now don't go talking bad about hair dressers... I was going to school to be one for a while... would be getting my license probably this month or next if my mother hadn't talked me into quitting.... ARGH
Hahaha... no, don't get me wrong... she does an awesome job and I'm often a big part of the problem because after so many years we've become good friends. It's just funny because I can tell when she's no longer paying attention to what she's doing, so I'm like "Uhhh... are you planning to call it good soon?". :biggrin1:

Awww. This banter is so cute. Really. It's funny that this conversation is happening on a website dedicated to big dicks.
I don't know much accentuating your face, but short hair is hot.
Most important thing about a stylist is communication. That's why I cut my own.

it's a womens issues forum so why do you care? or why am I HERE? OH SHIT! loser again:confused: best of luck girls...

Mandee, I think the Nicole Richie haircut would look adorable on you.

Another piece of advice I would like to offer is your eyebrow color. I don't know if you bleach your eyebrows, but they are almost invisible. Brows give a face "attitude" -- spunky, smoky, cute, whatever. And it's the eyebrows that "talk" about your mood and personality.

Furthermore, you have beautiful eyes, and brows are the frames of your eyes. All artwork needs to be framed, so you need to frame the "art" on your face.

If you have the money, invest about $40 or $50 in getting your eyebrows "done" by a specialist. These gals/guys know their stuff. They will help you figure out the best color/shape/style for your face.

In fact, if I were you, I'd get my eyebrows done BEFORE getting my haircut. Why? Because I honestly think this will make or break whatever look you choose.

So, hit the internet/phone and get recommendations for the BEST eyebrow person in your area.

PS: If you don't believe me, rent "Monster" starring Charleze Theron. Charleze is stunning, but in this movie her looks are waaaaaay played down. Making her eyebrows invisible was one of the ways they played down her face.

Sorry to go on at such great length, but you need to get those lovely eyes framed!!

Aww thanks Hotmilf!!

Actually I don't bleach them... they are just REALLY blonde... my mother says I should get them colored, but I was taught in cosmetology school (in Kansas) that it's illegal in a lot of states because it's not safe (I guess because it can easily get into the eyes).

I will ask about that though when I get my hair done. Or I guess I could look up the cosmetology laws for the state of Nevada.

Ahhh... that figures. You have wonderful alabaster skin, and that quite often comes with paler brows.

As far as eyebrow coloring, it's not illegal in California, and I highly doubt if it would be illegal in Neveda. The easiest way to check would be to google "eyebrow tint" or "eyelash tint" in Nevada and see if lots of estheticians are advertising these services.

I'm a red head, and I hate wearing makeup, so I get my lashes and brows colored. My lashes go blue-black, and my eyebrows go one or two shades darker than the natural color.

The first time I had my brows colored, it WASN'T done by a specialist, and I ended up with these dark, heavy-looking brows. I looked like Groucho Marx's sister!! So you really, really have to be careful who you choose.

There are some people who seem to have a truly artistic eye when it comes to eyebrows. And because of their ability to look at your face and figure out the planes/curves/angles, they might also perhaps offer some hair styling advice.

So if I were you, I would...

A) Chat up a few hair stylists, and ask who they know who's an expert in eyebrows, and/or

B) Do a google search for "eyebrow specialist" in Nevada, and find the one that's closest to you.

Good luck, dahlink!

I sympathize with you. My mom got a bad haircut on Saturday bless her heart. I told her not to go to that woman, her shop is just a room in her house.
