I am black, and I shave my chest, arm, and crotch/butt hair with an electric trimmer. I don't do it because of porn or something else.
I started when my butt hair got out of control. Now I trim fairly regularly. I don't take off enough to leave me bare, but leave a very small amount of hair with the clippers.
I am not a fan of wild out of control body hair, just not. I know there are enough people into hairiness that I don't feel i'm doing an injustice either way.
Body hair just gets you smellier faster in my experience. Once I started trimming it down, I could go for a brief walk in the FL weather and not smell like i'd been running for an hour.
