Hair removal products have been around for centuries. Depilatories, sugar waxing, tweezing are nothing new. Some cultures and religions, various Muslim and Indian sects, believe body hair to be unclean on men and women. Often family members would pluck every body hair from a bride or groom. Even some Victorians practiced hair removal from legs, underarms and genitals, though they also appreciated an abundance of pubic hair.
Personally, while I love hair on men, I like the pubic area trimmed and the balls shaved. I prefer men to have some hair because it looks young to me, but dislike it on women and don't find it or feel pubescent in the least. I prefer the smooth feel of fingers, tongue and skin against me.
While an errant hair in my mouth during oral sex is fine, generally hair in my mouth, my food, on a counter, can actually make me retch. And I do not find underarm and leg hair on women attractive, whether it's natural or not. Some women have unibrows and mustaches, which is natural, but it doesn't make it attractive. To me it looks masculine, just as to those who prefer hair it looks pubescent.
Some experts believe that pubic and underarm hair was designed to trap pheromones in the hair follicle. I don't believe we really need the help. Moisture and hormones will be trapped from arms being down and skin touching.
I don't believe having hair makes the body dirty, or that it is not hygenic. It is a choice.
