I must agree that hairy men are the best of the bunch when they are OUT of their swimsuits.

GeorgenFLA: Im quite hairy, with a hairy chest, stomach, shoulders, back, and a very hairy ass. In the military I've seen many men that are smooth, and some that are hairy. Hairy men are a rarer breed, and Im so glad that I inherited the body hairy trait from Dad, but I have also inherited the bigger dick trait also. I dont think there is a connection myself.

I'm right with you! I started getting chest and ass fuzz when I was 14, and our culture of smoothie worship made me very self-conscious, even though I relished having a whopper schlong. Very athletic but wouldn't think for a minute about shaving my body.

Did you measure the whopper schlong at 14, monsternmypant, or can you guesstimate its length and girth at that age? BTW, in spite of all the ad pictures of "androgenous body-hairless wonders", there are many of us who find male hairy bodies hotter than hell!"

A girlfriend once asked me kind of in passing if I'd ever shave my chest. I laughed and said no way. She never mentioned it again. Can't blame her for trying, I guess.

Most of the dancers I've worked with shaved or waxed themselves. One just trimmed his body hair very short. I've never had to shave my body; I'm naturally smooth. The reason we got rid of the body hair is the same reason that bodybuilders do the same. We work hard on our bodies, building them up. Part of the appeal of an exotic dancer is the play of hard muscle as we perform. Body hair tends to obscure the muscle definition we work so hard to achieve. Why work on firm pecs and abs if they're going to be hidden by hair? I have nothing against a little rough-and-tumble with a furry dude... in fact, I rather enjoy it ... but for 'exhibition' purposes, lack of body hair just shows off definition better.

norseman: I think I've mentined before that I'm a hairy dude, and generally proud of it.

When male pattern baldness set it, I eventually decided to shave the dome, and I'm happy with that. I've been trimming the pubes for years as well, but tomorrow I'm gonna take the big step (or the step before the big step) and check out laser hair removal to clean up my back....permanently

I've shaved my back in the Summer before, and I've been happy with the look. Seems to be the one area of the body where hair is just too much of a good thing. Shaving the back is a pretty high maintenance thing, so the more permanent approach seems to be worth investigating. I'd be interested in hearing comments.

Anyone had it done ?

Anyone really LIKE back hair ?

Actually some of the biggest bulges I have ever seen were on extremely hairy guys. But then hairy, hung or whatever boils down to genetics.

How would you measure hairiness? I think we all have some idea what being hung means (maybe different people have different standards but ), but what qualifies as hairy, anyway?

I've never seen a dude with a hairy back who wasn't hairy all over. Solid hair from neck to ankles. Hair follicles close together, making what we think of as fur. Of course, there are all degrees of hairyness, so I guess what would be for one might not be for another. Maybe your post will be a more professional answer than mine.

You know what I like, it's the fact that my hair "suits me", I would hate it if it clashed with my skin colour, that just looks "fuzzy", for me anyway.

Heck, it's one of the things I really like, no offence to smooth men, but the "androgenous look" really annoys when it's portrayed as "the best". I dislike the fact that the only time I've gone shirtless is with close friends, my body isn't even that bad, just that only the "quer-er" members of society dig fluff in public.

I am by no means androgynous, but I'm definitely smooth. I'm thankful that there are enough men out there who are into smooth rather than furry flesh. Otherwise, I'd have a very uneventful sex life. :unsure:

BigMeatNJ: just registered as a member and wanted to add to this . I'm not nearly the largest hung or the furriest on here. I'm just under 9" long and a true 6 3/4" around..and on a 1-10 fur scale with one being none and 10 being no smooth skin showing anywhere on back and chest I come in around 7. I can't tell you how many times I heard things like "I knew you were Italian because you're hairy & hung" . etc etc. Not that I'm complaining about hearing it or being it, just thinking that there must be lots of guys out there that are hung and hairy or stereotypical comments like this wouldn't be made. (of course lots of stereotyping is just that..but usually there are SOME examples of it that make popular opinion think it's that way)
and I for myself have met many men that are both hairy and hung well.
