Mine hangs naturally to the right more, if it gets hard, otherwise it tends to go down, if the crotch will fit it down, or a slight bulge to the right.

I say to whichever side gives a better glanced view, from wherever I am sitting. I can't see that which way it hangs, particularly matters.

Well that's one thing I like about being a little too big for it to just park neatly in the crotch, that it forms a little minor bulge to the right side, as it just doesn't quite fit in the crotch space.

And yet I can cross my legs without pinching it all up. Go figure.
