I think it's sort of a training thing. When I was young and first experiencing erections, I dressed with my dick pointing up and when I got hard kept it that way. Eventually it was trained to go that way. But a little while after I started dressing with it pointing down and left it that way during an erection. It now points more down...So my guess is that it's how it was trained early on?
