Yes, they were a brilliant concept. I've had I think 8 of them since I was 18, though none of the new type. I have mates both male & female who have them & they love them.

Cool! Never owned one - but been in both. The old mini cooper was gr8 - felt fast because it was so small and close to the ground haha.

The mini certainly isn't regarded in the uk as a girls car. well maybe the bmw version. but not the original version. if i had the money i'd build a space framed mini.

I think he'd be more comfortable in this equally iconic British motor car. Minis may come and go but if the UK ever stops making these things then the Empire's finished.
