Mine was yesterday, and I'm oh so grateful my English mother asserted herself when my French father wanted to name me Toussaint.

Do you think this ditty is true? I think we are deep pools that people can not fathom so they put all sorts of things on us. I do think though that we can be basically seen as cool and in some places ice cold. We like to keep our business to ourselves but if we do like someone we LIKE them. Also if after we have taken our time to deem you worthy of being liked if you betray us you are on the fertilizer list FOREVER! Also we are terriers for information. If something doesnt ring true we dig and dig and dig until we have the answer our mind seeks....

I couldn't have said it any better. In this day and age 'traditional' qualities like loyalty, honesty and integrity are undervalued.

Yes, French tradition has it that boys born on all saints day (November 1st) are named Toussaint. It's actually more common than you'd think even in modern day France. Personally, I'm glad I dodged that bullet. Four names and Toussaint isn't one of them. :biggrin1:
