To all the Mothers , Muthas, and Muvahs, I wish a wonderful day! Enjoy being pampered and being treated like the royalty you are! Luv ya one and all.
Hah, I was in the US for the UK's mothers day, but in the UK for the US mothers day. Oh well.
"Mothering Sunday, also called "Mothers' Day" in the United Kingdom and Ireland falls on the fourth Sunday of Lent (exactly three weeks before Easter Sunday)." "The United States celebrates Mother's Day on the second Sunday in May."
Thank you! And the same to you (where appropriate!) This is cool - I got UK/Ireland Mother's Day a while back (my mum sent me something on behalf of my offspring), I get US Mother's Day here and I get French Mother's Day at the end of the month. Today I am mostly using it as an excuse to eat ice-cream (like I need an excuse!)
We have some damn fine ice-cream, it's true. Best I ever had was in Nice though - a market stall with about 50 flavours of ice-cream and 40 or so sorbets. I'd have pitched a tent next to the guy if they'd have let me!
