More and more every year, I don't know if it's 'cos I'm getting older, but the world is totally fucked up, too much bad news on tv etc etc that New Year for me is all about being thankful for my health and wellbeing and for those closest to me. Life is far too short and we should all be thankful that most of us live comfortably. Ok we may need to tighten our money belts a bit right now but just remember others less fortunate.
