Hey, if you throw in the fact that I'm 3/4 alcoholic, then I'm almost
    fully Irish.

That is one of those generalizations about
    people that isn't true Jake.

    I don't even drink.

Yes I know. I didn't mean any disrespect. I was only refering to myself.
    And my inlaws. and my......
Oh hell, there I go again. Sorry.

I actually come from a long line of alcoholics, and its on my French
Canadian side of the family, not the Irish part of my family tree.

Although I sympathize with your difficulties (i.e., coming from an alcoholic family), I think you're really digging an even deeper hole for yourself there, jake. First the Irish, now the French Canadians so that the Irish aren't offended... Better stop there or I will resign as your geek liaison:wink:

What do you mean you leaving ? Oh cruel humanity!!! I guess its true what they say about addictions. You only hurt those around you.
Luckily my Parent quit drinking before I was born, but it's in the Genes .

My thoughts on offending people basically are, as long as I belong to that
particular group, I'm allowed to make offensive remarks .

Not really, I just wanted to sound like a bad stand up comic.:biggrin1:
