Well, WTW, I'm basically German, Irish, italian, Polish, so I do partake in the holiday as tribute for my Grandma, who did take pride in being Irish.

I remember this old Irish benediction she hung in her house;

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

My Mother used to make her
own and it used to taste much
