I just wanted to break my silence to wish all those who celebrate Thanksgiving here in the US, a very happy and joyous day. Amidst all the drama, overeating, groaning and "who wants pie?", I truly hope all of you can find at least one thing to be thankful for this day, and remember those who are no longer with us, and be thankful for the time you were able to share. For those of you like me who will be alone this holiday, please remember that if you have touched but one life, you are not truly alone. If you are loved by one person, you are not alone. If you reach out your hand to another, you are not alone. Happy Thanksgiving!

Some restaurants have thanksgiving lunch and dinner specials. I already ate mine today. It consisted of turkey, ham, cornmeal stuffing, fried plantain, spanish rice and yams.

For most Bahamians the big feast preparation will be done for the Christmas holiday break as opposed to this week.

Thanks, David. Same to you and yours.

I made a toast at the family dinner today.

"Here's to health, happiness and Ed's pony tail."

Ed is my biker brother-in-law.
