Hart Bochner's second movie was "Breaking Away" in 1979. ( he was born in 1956 In Toronto, so he would have been 23 (or likely 22 if it was shot in summer of 1978).

He's a long time favorite of mine. That speedo scene is breathtaking in Breaking Away. (I've also been to that quarry for a day of beer and swimming and whatnot.) He also directs and produces. I think he directed Rock-n-Roll High School and a horror movie. His greatest work is Apartment Zero in which a gay guy, played by Colin Firth, falls in love with him. Definitely worth renting from Netflix. And they do end up together, too!

I've always heard of that film and wanted to see it, now I've got extra incentive!

I've seen a coupla recent pics of him and he seems to be just as hot. One of those lucky Paul Newman types who hold their looks. Dennis Quaid is there, too.
