It's most likely been 'shopped. Even with the low resolution, the photo looks as though the penis and the ruler were pasted in. Shadows, if any, are poorly rendered. And the other photo, though high res and rather clean, doesn't do well in analysis.

This is the problem with using third-party photos. To accurately determine whether a photo was altered, it helps to have the original, uncompressed image.

The size shown has no bearing on it. The fucked-up photo with the black ruler puts both in suspicion. It was edited with one of several programs that are capable of manipulation. Whether any was done is an unknown.

This is the problem with 3rd-party images. Someone sees one and posts it. It's from who knows where by who knows who, been copied dozens or hundreds of times. At this point I pretty much avoid any serious consideration of these.

Without using analysis software, it's a clean job. In focus, hi-res, minimal edge artifacts, and *most* of the shadows are where and how they'd be expected. The exception is where the thumb overlaps the tape. Thumb makes a slight shadow on the skin, but continuing left, the shadow ends abruptly at the tape. It's possible that this is because the yellow tape is reflective enough to mask the shadow, but this would lead me to go further if it mattered.

The tape could be straight because it's held by someone or something, like the table across from the subject.

Also around the 4 inch mark there is a weird dent in the tape. This all looks suspicious to me. But hey .. I am no expert.

Maybe the tape actually rests on the head, see how the 8-9 inch appears shorter than the 7-8, like it's at an angle. You can actually see hints of shadows at the 9" mark when the tape (magically) gets straight again, and around the 7"1/4 mark where it would be suspended between the shaft and the head.

Anyway IMO the main shadows are the biggest issue here. First they are very, very dark. FWIW if you push the gamma enough that they're not pitch black anymore, they take on weird hues: reddish along the cock, yellowish along the tape, and greenish for the hand. I don't know how much of a red flag that is though. Then what's that gray bar between the hand and the cock that doesn't seem to be affected by the shadow? I can't explain it, it would have to be a strip of reflective material to look like this. I also don't like the way the tape's shadow hits that piece of furniture.

But then he's got a ruler pic showing the same measurement, and I can't see anything wrong with that one.

It's out of focus (focus is on the carpet) but picture quality isn't that bad.

Not to be pedantic but... most basic phones do not take 4k quality pics. The newer phones do but those are still relatively expensive. The only reason I have the quality pics I have (which even now are low quality compared to newer phones everyone in the US keeps buying partially because the camera broke slightly) is because my friend gave me his old galaxy s6edge. I'm poverty level in the USA but still most likely higher income than most in 3rd world countries.
