This happened to me about two years ago when I was flying out of NYC. I got stopped by one of the search dogs while I was waiting in line for TSA. The officer with the dog told me he needed to send me for extra screening since the dog stopped. They thought I had drugs on me, thankfully I did not. After he told me that, two other male TSA officers came and took me to a search room a few halls away. It was a bare and empty room except for a few metal chairs and a table. The two guards looked to be in their mid-thirties and were very stern. Once we all were in the room, they told me that they would need to search my personal belongings and need to conduct a strip search.
They took my carry-on bag and opened it up on the table and searched every part of it. After they were finished with the bag, one of the guards came up and told me that I would need to disrobe and hand him one article of clothing at a time. He first told me to take off my shoes and hand them over. I took them off and gave my shoes to the TSA officer. He untied my shoes and examined every part of them. After he was done he handed them to the other TSA officer, who is just watching at this point, and the other officer placed them next to my carry-on bag. Then the guard continued to search me and my clothes. He continued next with my socks, shirts, and pants. Having me take of one article of clothing, examine it, then handed it over to the other TSA officer to place with the rest of my belongings.
Then once I was just in my boxers he told me I needed to take my boxers off as well and then place my hands on my head until further instructed. I was a bit scared and embarrassed but didn’t want to argue because I didn’t want to get into any trouble or miss my flight. So, I hooked my thumbs into my boxers, slid them off, handed them to the TSA officer, and place my hands on the top of my head as he instructed. There I was completely naked and on display while the TSA officer examined my boxers and handed them to his partner to put with the rest of my stuff. Nudity never has been a big issue for me but it was a bit strange to be naked while two officers searched and examined you.
Next the officer went over to his partner and was handed a pair of gloves. He put the gloves on and told me that the search was almost over but he just had to check a few more things before they could let me go. Next he told me to stick out my hands and wiggle my fingers. I did as he ordered until he told me to stop and then had me run my fingers through my hair. After that he told me to put my hands back on top of my head and that he would now need to do a physical pat down.
He then came over and started examining the front side of me. He began the pat down from the head down. He had me open my mouth while he looked inside with a flashlight, checked behind my ears, checked under my armpits, and patted down my chest and stomach. Then he bend down and grabbed and lifted my penis and searched there. I was in a bit of a shock at this point and did not expect him to have grabbed my penis during the strip search. Next, he let go of my penis and lifted and moved my balls and searched there. After he was satisfied that nothing was there he then patted down each leg and finished by examining my feet and the bottom of my feet before telling me to turn around.
He then continued the search and pat down of my backside. Then after he finished that he told me that he just had to do a cavity search to make sure I didn’t have anything illegal on me before they could let me go. He went back over to the other TSA officer and was handed a small package of lubrication He told me to bend over and pull my butt cheeks apart so he could do the cavity search. I did as I was told and waited what felt like forever before he started the cavity search. I felt a cold feeling on my anus, which was the lubrication, before I felt his swiftly inserted his finger inside me. The TSA officer must have thought I was actually hiding something because he went very deep and was very intense with his cavity search. As I said earlier, they did not find anything and so he withdrew his finger and told me that I was good to go. He told me that the other TSA officer, who had been in the room and watching the entire search, would take me back and make sure I could keep the line for security and could go on my way. After that, the TSA officer to searched me left and I got dress and went back on with my day.
