Good going. By the by~~ have you and your gentlemen invested in a blood pressure monitor for home use? It's a good way to get the extra monitoring done for a while, a few checks per day--morning, mid-day, evening--may show if he has times which are worse (higher reading). Anywho--glad to hear he's doing better (must be your gentle caring which has helped).

Thanks Onslow. We did buy one last week and take reading about 3 times a day. Being mid 40's and not having had mine measured for many years I checked my own. I was pleasantly suprised that it hovers around the 130/70 mark which is perfect for my age. I've lost 30 poounds in the last year so that must have helped.

I am 33 years old and my blood pressure has always been pretty good, about 117/70 something or so, even though I pack about an extra 20 pounds. I don't mind exercising but I love to eat! Anyways, recently I bought a weight loss book and implemented some of the suggestions. I've lost only nine pounds, but my blood pressure is excellent now! I'm talking 102/51.

The one thing that I think helped the most was that I did a colon cleanse, which lasted three months. Also I have been eating at least two organic apples and one organic grapefruit everyday. Oh yeah, and also I drink organic apple cider vinegar a couple of times a day. The rest of my diet is already pretty healthy, but these are the only changes I made during the past 4-5 months to lower my blood pressure, even though that wasn't my goal.
