(Okay, there are a few white rappers, but no one really cares about them anyway).[post=265271]Quoted post[/post]
Off-topic but, what the hell are you talking about? Cypress Hill, Vanilla Ice, KoRn and Limp Bizkit if you want to count those jokers. Plus a slew of others that some people care about, their talent and influence is debatable but at least some people out there care.
But... much more importantly... Eminem. Nobody really cares about Eminem? He's only the most influential force in rap today and has been for years.
As for calling queers fags.... just a question of semantics in my book and kind of a stupid argument. If it is used in an intentionally hurtful or discriminatory way, then yeah, it's kind of gay. Bigotry sucks. But personally I'm of the mind that words are words and people really make too big of a deal out of some of them. If you let a word hurt or offend you I'll be forced to think of you an over-sensitive or overly-conservative pussy. If, on the other hand, you are using words with the intention of hurting someone else, then you are probably small-minded and not intelligent enough to come up with a real insult.
Incidentally one of the things Eminem gets so much press about is his common use of the word "faggot" as a deragatory term for members of the Insane Clown Posse and anyone else he doesn't like, though usually not for actual homosexuals. Whoa, irony.
