Has anyone's partner/boyfriend found their LPSG profile?.. If so what happened?..

Just asking this because I've sorta started dating this new guy recently and I'm afraid he might freak out if he were to find my LPSG, since I talk about my most intimate sexual feeling, fantasies, kinkiness, etc on here... and he seems pretty vanilla so far, so don't want to totally freak him out...

Though there is no way I can stop writing here since you guys are so helpful, and it's great to have access to such a great sexual resource as you guys have experience with pretty much everything I've ever asked..

I found LPSG through a former partner's participation here.

I found it by just doing a web search on his email address one day. And he shared much more on here than he ever shared with me. Things might have turned out differently for us if he had at least been more open with me.

Honestly, I'm of two minds:

On the one hand, I'd encourage you to be open and honest with your new boyfriend - as the times arise. If he discovers your profile here and wants to discuss things, it's at least a place to start. I also don't think sexual fantasies and/or interests should be a taboo subject or anything to be ashamed of.

On the other hand, it's definitely understandable that people hope to share info and maybe get guidance from others online. It's part of the web community. Still, nothing on the web is ever totally private. One needs to keep that in mind.

I think it's easier to be open and upfront about using the site. It's much easier than having to close browser windows when someone walks in the room etc. If he doesn't like the fact you are using it then you can decide how to proceed.

I'm too lazy to hide things and too laid back to be "found out" by my other half.

Well I would hide my browers windows... we haven't gotten to the point where were sharing a computer or using the computer around each other yet...

My bf is fairly insecure and went googling my various usernames and found mine and browsed through my 400 some odd posts (I deleted that old username now). I was a little bothered by it, there were things I didn't really want to talk to him about quite yet or maybe I wanted to tell him myself sometime in the future. We eventually got over it though.

This is the reason why I never re-use the same username on forums. Too easy for a stranger to stalk me via Google, and way too easy if someone knew me to find out things about myself I don't want known.

I use a different name on every site and a different avatar. The only exception is the Sex Forum. I am petite there also.

It also helps if you choose a name that is a common noun or an adjective. Makes Google useless for internet stalking.

Luckily, I don't think I'm the only Scotsman on the internet, so I think I'm safe. I'd never actually post a photograph of my face on here though, since that seems to pretty much flat-out invite the scenario you were talking about, or worse.

Why don't you simply ask him if he wants to open up one of his own? Tell him that you have gotten great advice out here, have made a few online friends, and that he may enjoy it himself. That way, nothing to hide, damn you could even browse it together if you wanted to!

FWIW, I agree with what Flamey said.

Not telling someone a secret you know will upset them is a soap opera plotline waiting to happen (Ad nauseum). If he's gonna have issue with it or freak out, better now than later.

I think it's best to be honest and give him info on your likes first. I showed my wife LPSG and wondered how it would go, but figured wtf we watch porn. Now she loves having "our" site and we pick our pics and vids. But now we do wonder about if someone we know sees our posts and how we will feel about that, I am all for it, she figures that "oh well they were on here also". So has anyone else been "seen"on here and how did it go? We would like to hear.

In the past, when I started accounts on sites like Xpeeps, I've told him about it to make sure he was cool. Although we're not really in an official relationship, we live together and are best friends, and we kind of have an unspoken agreement that as long as we are still having sex, we shouldn't be out fucking around (strictly in terms of health and safety!)

I haven't specifically told him about this site, but that's just because unlike Xpeeps, when I come here I don't feel like I'm doing anything wrong. Sure, I have nudes on here and occasionally comment on galleries from time to time, but for me this site is mostly about hearing other perspectives and opinions, not about getting off or meeting people to fuck around with.
