Has porn killed love? Are all women prostitutes now?

Lots of room for discussion on the role of porn in our societies. Been debated many times. But still.

To me personally, porn's had a bad effect. Not so much that I try to act like a porn star when I have sex (happens), but because it has changed my view on women.

When I see the millions of women and girls who show their naked bodies on the internets, I get frustrated. And it has permeated my view of reality.

When I walk on the street now, and I see a woman, my mind immediately says: "this could be just another internet prostitute".

I can never get back into a normal relationship with a woman, because to me she's already a ****, no matter what she says.

Perhaps it's because I feel insecure about myself that I have lost trust. But it's also possible that I'm just strictly correct.

Do other women/men have the same feeling? Has porn destroyed something essential? Or am I just weak?

Uh, I think you have some issues you may need to work through with a professional instead of here on LPSG.

Are you serious? You think this massive overload of porn doesn't have an effect on most ordinary, otherwise healthy (wo)men?

And what would a therapist help with? Perhaps he'll simply agree with my perception and admit there's nothing we can do.

Ive seen a ton of porn, and recently i do think about more about romantic sex, than porn sex , i dnt know, just porn got boring, guy with huge cock fucks women, lots of screaming, cum, and pretty much 99% of the videos are like that, i prefer porn where they try different things, but that one is rare, still now i think much more about romantic real life sex

I agree with Petite. And this belongs in Relationships, not Women's Issues.

Questions like "Are all women prostitutes now?" tend to sound off my troll alarm.

Seeing as how my husband and I have not displayed our sex life on the Internet, I think the problem is yours.

Some people are perfectly happy in the moment to display themselves. In their case, intimacy is replaced with exhibitionism. Definitely not my style.

I am sure if you look not even real hard, you will find a wonderful young lady who has never been filmed exposing herself.

Hell, I won't even let Cap take a photo of me in a towel for fear that somehow that little digital file will mysteriously appear on a website somewhere. He has the same fear because it's actually happened to him before. And he didn't even have a towel!!!

So, saying there are 135 million women in the US alone, you're saying you've seen every one of them in a sex scene, or even a small majority?

People who generalize are a-holes.... wait....

You're already a jerk, no matter what you say.

But to comment on the topic: It doesn't have any negative affect on most women.

Some women it helps because they learn different techniques, etc. It might be making more women more sexual at a younger age but that's not a bad thing (referring to 18+).

Probably more young women are DTF than were thirty years ago but that's no bad thing. As long as they play safe. And play with me, of course.

In spite of some of the knee-jerk (expected) reactions to your post, this could be worth discussing but you made the crucial error of coming to the Women's Issues forum with this topic. The proliferation of pornography is potentially responsible for corrupting the fabric of the sexual dynamic and gender interaction in general. Most are afraid to admit it, that's all.

I'd suggest moving this topic before you get...well, it's probably too late now.
You presented your ideas in a very indelicate manner and in an inappropriate forum...that's the real shame.

Porn in general is not a problem. So what if everyone you pass on the street is a "internet prostitute" as you say. Having sex is natural and healthy and there is nothing wrong with being interested in how other people do it. Think of it as a cooking show. :)

Ironic that you're writing about your distaste for porn and how it has a bad effect when PLENTY of your other posts focus on your enjoyment of porn.

    ---------------
"I think the next big thing in porn is not so much in finding new themes, but in making porn more "tangible". "Enhanced reality" is what it's all about."

"Cream on the black shaft starts at 8.00 and serious nastiness from 8.30 onwards:

Freak Nasty Tina Price - Spankwire.com (Freak Nasty Tina Price - Spankwire.com)

    Yum."

    "
Go to the Large Labia Forum. Thousands and thousands of vids and pics there.

Large Labia Productions :: Home (http://www.large-labia-productions.com/)"

    "

    "
White girl loses copious amounts of goo, on black dick (from 10.00 onwards):

White Girl fucks Black Dude (White Girl fucks Black Dude)

    Grab a bucket!"

    "

I'm white. I have had sex with dozens (hundreds) of black women. But this is in Africa. I found them to be more relaxed than white girls, and they don't get all hysterical when enjoying it.They're also highly respectful of themselves (not slutty).

They also have more beautiful bodies, as God has decided that African girls should be physically more fit than anyone else. Their booties and their long legs, etc... You know the drill.

But again, this is Africa, not Afro-America. I think there might be a big difference.
    "

    -----------------------

Your post has no place in Women's issues as this is YOUR ISSUE, and you are completely misogynistic and racist. Go back to your bridge, troll.

I think you had issues with your attitude to women before you started to get off on a lot of porn.

Porn definitely makes you think that big dicks and air brushed pussy is common place... and that anything lesser than that is a compromise.. which is so not true...

perfect people dont exist... and porn makes you think otherwise

Ok, thanks to your comments I've sought help from two psychiatrists.

Their diagnosis: yes, you're right, all women have become whores, internet porn has killed love, we're seeing this daily in our work. Those who claim to be immune to the overload of pornographic material are mentally ill, need a lot of help.

So let's close the topic. It's clear.

(One was actually a sexologist-psychiatrist; said at last he meets a healthy young man, most others claim to be immune to internet porn, but have twisted relationships with women.)

PS: for those who think I'm joking. I'm not. I've actually visited these two shrinks, one at the University Hospital of my town, and one in a private practise. So.
