No man would ever go through a Dick shrinking procedure.
No, but if anybody could suddenly have whatever size penis they wanted, people would likely realize that it wasn't as important as they had made themselves believe it was and didn't change who they were or make them any better off. People on the receiving end of said penis might even find themselves getting less pleasure from the big ones once the psychological aspect was knocked out and they were totally commonplace.

How would this usher in a golden age? If all men had dicks that were 11" in length, that would not be a "long dick" anymore; it would be a normal, average dick. Men would have to fixate on some other characteristic in order to differentiate themselves from one another and produce a hierarchy.

I disagree. People obsess over penis size because it's important. If your penis is below seven inches it means you're not a man. If we gave everyone a seven inch Dick, all these males who are depressed and violent because they aren't men would see all their problems disappear. They would be content an relaxed. Crime would drop. Wars would end. Sexual assault would become a thing of the past. It would be a golden age.

In the future we will be able to genetically engineer our progeny in many ways, not only to avoid many diseases and aging but in physical characteristics as well. It's going to happen. The possibilities are amazing.

We will also be able to make changes to existing bodies through gene therapies.
