There are some circumstances that improve the odds. The low odds presumably are based on people being evenly distributed, and making chance encounters. While that makes a nice statistics text book problem, society is more complicated. In fact, encounters with 3, or even 4, well-endowed men together happen to me fairly often. The reason is that my behavior actively seeks out such groupings, rahter than waiting for the statistically rare random chance encounter.
But, even without deliberate efforts to set up an encounter, there are factors about behavior that vastly improve the odds over the simple calcualtion:
First, gay men tend to have preferred places to hang out, increasing the local concentration over that in the overall population. Even if there is no local gay bar or club, there are often establishments and places that are more "'gay friendly" than others, and there will be a higher concentration of gay men, increasing the likelyhood of a gay-gay matchup.
In the extreme case, like a gay bar, gay nightclub, sexclub, etc, where the clients are almost exclusively gay male, the probablility of a gay-gay pairing is near 100%. But, of course, not all locales have such places, and not all encounters occur in such palces.
Similarly, while an encounter leading to sex may come by chance, often people go out looking for sex when they feel in the mood. Again, they are likely to go to a place where other people, also looking for sex, are most likely to be found. The could go to one of the other establishments listed above (if available), or to one of the local cruise spots, such as the truck stop, that certain park, the woods by the railroad tracks, that particular stretch of beach, or any of the other places. (There are even directories of such places, for example on
www.cruisingforsex.com). I'm not sure how this works in the hetero world, but the cruise spots I know of are exclusively gay. So again, the probablility of having a gay-gay encounter is near 100%
So, if you are in an environemnt where gay-gay encounters are the norm, then the odds are related solely to the distribution of big dicks, not to the fraction of gay, bi, or kinsey-scale-whatever men in the general population. If you yourself are hung, and if 1% of other men are hung, then if you pick a man at random at such an all-gay meatrack, the odds are 1 in 100 that he will be hung, too.
But, the selection process isn't random. Unless you are a total slut, you don't have an encounter with the first random body that comes along, but are selective, seeking out traits that you like, which could include a preference for well hung. How do you know somebody is hung? Folklore about shoe size, etc, aside, there are a few traits about appearance, ethnicity, etc, which while hardly foolproof, improve the odds over random selection. Or, you might be pretty sure after you get a look at that bulge in his crotch.
Further, some men are exhibitionisists, and this helps in pairing up with hung men. I'm not sure that well-hung men are more likely than average to have exhibitionist traits. However, a well-hung man is likely to be a far more effective exhibitionist. That is, if someone is flashing a little dick, few will notice or care. On the other hand, if he pulls out an anaconda and slaps it on his thigh, every eye in the place will notice. Even if the exhibitionism isn't so overt, it's still the guy with big dick that gets most noticed. If the purpose of exhibitionish is to attract others, and if big-dicked exhibitionism is more effective, this, too, improves the odds.
Then, there are places like sex clubs (as well as some of the cruise zones, bar backrooms where these still exist, etc) where people often spend a lot of time having quick encounters and exhibiting, while they check out who they want to have an extended encounter with later. In situations like that, you often get someone who manages to manipulate things to get a particular scene set up. If he happens to be a size queen, a multiple-big-dick encounter may be the result.
Earlier in this thread, I described an experience in the crowded backroom of a Chicago bar in May, where a guy worked the crowd to get three men hung men together, then passed out condoms and offered us his ass, leading to a big-dick gang fuck. This didn't happen according to the odds, but actively happend becasue someone manipulated who encountered who.
This week, I had another hot multi-hung-man encounter, which I posted seperately. (No one would ever get to reading it if I burried it here.) So, there was another statistically-improbably multi-big-dick encounter. It happened not because of the odds, but because several people in an environment conducive to it hapening wanted it to happen, and because one was attractive looking enought to be the magnet that drew it together.
