Hello everybody,

I have a cronic problem of tight anus. Over 10 times I try to have anal sex, I feel pain 8 times. Sometimes I try to relax with smaller dildos but most of the times I try anesthetic cream in order to ease the penetration.
Some rare times I can take a penis with no pain at all and that is surprising and sudden. It has happened with the same boyfriend so it's not a matter of whom I'm having sex with.
I went to two urologists but no real medication (even muscle relaxant in drops) but nothing really worked.
As you can imagine, it's not nice.
I heard about botox injections for anal pain and I would like to ask if any of you has ever tried it for the same problem.

Or, if you have the same problem, if there is another real solutions you tried.
Thank you all for your time ;)

I found the starting position matters for me and using butyl nitrate helps relax the sphincter muscle. The problem I see with numbing creams is that it numbs your partner's sensation

How quickly are you moving from undressing/kissing/touching to penetration?
Good question. Well, it varys, I don't have a specific routine.
Sometimes I even start dilating with a finger, than two, than toys.
Then again, even the sensations varies: rarely I feel no pain, but really really no pain, and I'm surprised that I could go on for very long; most often it all feels very sensitive, my nerves are really tense and I cannot completely enjoy it, though there is pleasure and therefore I tend to keep going; some other times the pain is too much and, after the complete penetration, I give up: the pain it's connected to specific points in there.
For sure, if I masturbate, I don't feel the pain, which starts after I have cum, in fact my partner has to stop after I've cum.
Well, thank you for reading me, I've been very detailed :D

To clarify, what I was trying to ask about was foreplay. How extended is the physical lead-up, with your boyfriend, to penetration?

I guess it takes one third of the whole time.
My husband and I are versatile so we get in times where I bottom more or he does. I’ve had a lot of back issues and surgeries lately so it’s easier on me to bottom. Even though I’ve been having anal sex for 40+ years, I still have to ease into it. We almost always use a dildo to open me up and relax me before he penetrates me. He’s got a very girthy and long dick and even as an experienced bottom there’s no way he can just push into me without pain.
Just as he’s about to enter you, exhale slowly and push out like you’re trying to have a bowel movement. This opens the sphincter which is where the most restriction is. Once he’s passed that ring it’s much easier.

I think the fact that you’re not having the problem all the time makes it a psycho problem than a physical problem.

going the Botox route is a bit extreme to me and you’d probably be better off if you just practice with toys etc. To get used to it.

butt plugs are your friend.

If you have no problems with penetration during masturbation (hypersensitivity is normal after orgasm), what is different when you are playing with your partner?

Eg If the difference is condoms, your problem is a latex allergy. If the difference is girth, it's a relaxation problem. If the difference is amount of thrusting, it's a lube problem or internal hemorrhoid issue.

First of all, I have pain when I do it myself as well, unfortunately. The huge difference is that I know what movement I am about to make, I am in control of everything and I can immediately modulate what I do depending on the feedbacks I get from my anus. When anybody else is doing it, chances are high that I'll get more pain due to the time it takes for me to say "stop" and the other person to actually stop.
Girth is a problem: if I stick a lubed pencis, I feel that there are some painful spots but they don't get triggered. But a pencis is not a tool of pleasure :D

Anyway no hemorrhoid at the moment. There are precise trigger points (as a urologist told me) which are very sensitive, keep everything tense and overreact if touched.

Thank you all for your reactions and suggestions.

I find that, for initial penetration, sitting on his cock is most effective. That way, I control the rate of penetration and the rhythm. Often, I would get it in, then get hit with pain, so I pulled it out. Then, after a few seconds, I am able to accommodate him. When the penetration finally does happen, it feels amazing, because I initially controlled things. Maybe it's more psychological, but, after the first couple minutes, he can go as fast and as deep as he wants, with only a pleasurable feeling on my part.
