Have you ever made a New Year's resolution that you kept?

Off hand I can't think of any that lasted longer than the month of January.

I stopped making them about two years ago. Decided to live each day by the moment.

I find that I do better with getting things done, if its not set as a resolution.

Im terrible at finishing anything i start, so a New Years resolution is a pointless exercise to me.

My New Year's resolution every year is to do the best I possibly can. However one year I decided to quick smoking and train to run in the Honolulu marathon and I did it. However when I finished the race I stumbled into Long's Drug Store and bought a pack of cigarettes and went to a bar and got drunk.

I did 6 months as a vegeatarian a few years back - i made the resolution and i kept to it but in general i don't bother with them...

I've never made one and actually didn't know about them until I was in my mid-late teens.

I made one over a decade ago and have stuck with it.

It was "To never make any New Years resolutions ever again."

Still stuck with it.

Yup.

I made a New Year's resolution that on my thirty-fifth birthday if was still smoking cigartettes I'd stop.

On the eve of that birthday I threw my last pack of cigarettes into the fireplace and I've never looked back. I began smoking at twenty-one so it was roughly fourteen years I smoked.

Only New Year's resolution I've ever made. I kept it and I'll say that it was not difficult to stop once I'd decided I was done with it.
