One thing that is interesting is the idea of Zach being 10 years younger than her...about 3/4 of the women who make the requests or comments which ellude to the posibilities of more than just a therapeutic massage tend to be about 10-15 years older than me...although there have been a couple my age or a little younger.

As a man... I end up paying for sex almost every time. If it's not cash up front then it's something else further down the line. The woman that enjoys sex for its own sake and can have it without turning it into some kind of twisted power game or feeling that she is somehow then owed something for her time is rare and ought to be celebrated.

A few specific thoughts on the issue

Professional sex workers are just that: professional. In general (there are exceptions, both individual and general by type) professional escorts will be clean, safe, and experienced. Most of them get checked out monthly, many of them don't even have boyfriends/girlfriends or casual sex, especially if they are working for an agency/brothel/massage parlor. Most of them use condoms every time, and then wash before and after. They won't get caught up in the heat of the moment and not feel like using one, they won't forget to bring one, they won't risk having unprotected sex with someone because they tell them that they're clean. How many "normal" guys or girls can you say that about? They know what they're doing and the good ones will do what they can to make whatever time you spend with them enjoyable so they can get repeat business. Though of course sex with a prostitute is riskier than, say, sex with someone you've been in a steady monogamous relationship with for a while who you've been to the clinic with to get tested together, it's also a whole lot safer than hooking up with some random person you meet at a bar or club or online whom you know virtually nothing about. Even the monogamous relationship thing is only safe if you can trust your partner to not cheat.

Snoozan brought up the fact that women can get sex for free pretty easily, and that's also true, and probably a big part of why female prostitutes are so much more prevalent than male ones. That, and females typically feel more strongly that they shouldn't have to pay for it, because as I outlined above, most of them imagine their coochies to be not so much a source of pleasure as it is some sort of valuable commodity to use for barter or manipulation. This disparity in sexual power level between men and women (with women adopting the role of givers and men adopting the role of seekers in sex), added to the inequity of economic viability between men and women, leads to the traditional scenario of a male John and a female prostitute. That it would occur to women to even want this (good sex with no strings attached) I think is probably a good thing, but at this point the necessity for a woman to spend money in this persuit is minimal. If you're an attractive woman and you ask any available guy (and most "unavailable" ones, too) if they will have sex with you no strings attached, odds are heavily in your favor that they will say yes. A guy doing the same thing to a woman will only get ignored, slapped, or kneed in the groin.

Nineinch brings up some good points about professional sex workers...the key word being professional.

I have noticed with my own clientele that many are becoming more bold and more empowered especially when they are successful in business. I think they are interested in the possibilities of hiring a rent-a-stud because they like having the power and money to do it. But most if them would just like to be nurtured and cared for and have a little extra attention given to their needs, and I think they are interested in a professional because they won't have to deal with the drama and hardship of the dating world and they know that they are getting what they pay for and none of the headaches.

Thanks Nineinch

Agreed that women use their pussies to manipulate, but no more than men use their cocks to manipulate.

What I don't like about this post is the implication that women are manipulative in sexual encounters and men are not. Men are just as manipulative as women, no more, no less.

Seriously?

I'm not debating that men can be manipulative and many of them play stupid mindgames in sex and relationships just like women do.. but I've never known nor can I even imagine a man using sex as a weapon the same way certain (not all) women do. I'm trying to picture a guy withholding sex out of spite (with a calculated result in mind) or trying to use his cock to get a woman to do what he wants her to, and am not coming up with any scenarios that seem even vaguely plausible. I've seen men use love, affection, attention, jealousy, and other things to get their way with girls. I've never seen sex or penis used for this. I can't even imagine it.

women only need to walk up to a hot guy and say "lets have sex, just once, no strings".

I bet most guys would say yes. No money needed.

You sometimes see that in Tokyo, thanks to the insane amount of Love Hotels. I was randomly asked for sex on the street by an average girl some years ago, I took her back to my place, in the morning she was gone.

Massages here in Japan are basically nocking shops, they have some female only ones. I think women expect the whole deal if they go to host clubs too, instead of the hostess clubs, which despite being popular here, are not nocking shops, they are more of an "enjo kosai" deal (compensation dating).

Hell, afer you have been in a relationship/marriage for many years .hot sex is the most assured way of getting something u want from ur wife/gf- when they are basking in the afterglow of a multi orgasmic session -thats when u ask them to do things.,go places, buythings etc they would normally bitch or whine about if you had asked them before sex

I've heard this mentioned several times in this thread, and believe me, I know it's true. It used to be my hobby.

As a good-looking, horny teenage girl with long, blonde hair, I was actually appalled at how easy men were. Girlfriend or not, way older than me or not, even gay!

But here's the problem with the scenario: The vast majority of the sex was not good sex.

So I think the fact that women can get sex for free isn't the best reason for them not to pay for it.

Even though I would not pay for sex, I wouldn't pick a random guy either, because in all likelihood, he would leave me dissatisfied.

In a long-term relationship, if a man cares about pleasing a woman, he can learn what she likes (and vice versa). Otherwise, it's luck of the draw.

I suppose this would be one advantage to a paying a professional -- he would know what the hell he was doing.:biggrin1:

It seems there has been an increased interest among some groups of women in buying sex and/or intimacy of late. Busy professionals who do not have time for dating, single women who feel they need a break from the dating scene but feel liberated in their sexuality enough to pay a well trained massage therapist/gigilo to "work out their kinks" with no strings attached, married women who still love their family but feel they need a little more nurturing and attention so they pay for some discrete cuddle on the side. I am not talking about women who can't get any, I am talking about women who have specific needs they want met and find it easier, safer, more convienent and without the drama to get it with cash.

So, here are the questions: Have you or would you ever pay for it?
If yes, what did or would you want from the experience and what would be the most important qualities you would look for in your provider?

No, not experienced that.

As I'm lazy at the moment...I'm going to bring my opinion and others in another thread...about this situation, ok?

I once considered becoming a dominatrix, I hated my job, and a "dom club" had just opened in a near by town. My bf at the time wouldn't let me

But why not do it now? I do think exist many channels to experience that Kotchanski...

Me too have a 'domme' in me...she is kind of a 'marine' bootcamp one...

How many styles and types os dommes there are???
