I haven't slept in a few days and was wondering if anyone here had any suggestions on what worked for them to be able to sleep.

    Tips for a better sleep:

    1. Avoid caffeinated products hours or moments before bed time.

    2. Reduce the amounts of stress in your life.

    3. Address any issues you may have in life that are stressing you out.

    4. Do not exercise before bedtime.

    5. Eat a turkey sandwich and drink a glass of warm milk.

    6. Learn some meditation and breathing exercises.

    7. Quit smoking.

Well I take a combination of pills everynight:

    Ambien
    Xanax
    Risperdal
    Tegretol
    Flexiril

They help me get to sleep.

Work out in the evening (not before sleep); healthy food; some laughs; and, of course, :wank: :smileysex5: :adam4: :069: :bj: :087: :3some: :blowjob:

That really is a bummer. There are occasional nights when I can't sleep but then I take a strong anti-histamine called Nytol which makes you pleasantly drowsy but is only for occasional use. I agree with a warm milk drink helping, as does reading a slightly dull book! Masturbation can also release tensions. Good luck!

Naked Wally, Excercise, but make sure it's early in the day. Don't drink any caffeinated beverages after 3:00 p.m., try going to bed at the same time everynight...if all that doesn't help (and it doesn't always work for me) take Trazadone...you'll sleep like a baby. Oh, I forgot...sex. And then maybe some more sex.

An ambien and some vodka may fix your problem, but I can't reccomend it as you may never wake up. A lot of the suggestions above are pretty workable, I hope you get some sleep soon, insomnia is a pain.

Try Valerian. It is a non-prescription herbal sleep aid. It should come in 2000mg tablets or capsules and you should be able to find them at supermarkets and chemists (at least you can in Australia). They also give you really good quality of sleep and don't make you drowsy, just relaxed. Only problem is that some of them smell really nasty.

Is it possible your bipolar and are in a manic episode? This is highly common for bipolar especially if accompanied by obsessive sexual thoughts, high energy level, feeling more outgoing than usual, irritable, frequent sex doesn't not satisfy you for more than an hour or so...etc.

Good luck and glad you finally got some sleep. But after four days without sleep, two benedryl shouldn't have been needed unless there is a pathological or emotional process going on.
