There is a major difference tho... that first situation was public and very obvious that it was just to build up engagement for an advertisement. Any normal (aka non-obsessed) person would have known that right away as soon as he posted the caption. This time it was a private cameo to one person. Hayes had nothing to gain from saying that in a private video.
cameos rarely stay private. people always end up sharing them with the public to show they got a personalized message from someone famous

I don’t think his original of post was just hype for his ihop ad lol. They where completely unrelated. I personally think he was half kidding half feeling the water. But I do completely agree that he has nothing to gain by BS’ing in a cameo. I think there is at least a chance he will do one.
He also had some legal troubles not long after that that prevented him, it’s also important to remember that less than 24 hrs after he got to 10k comments people where already calling bs, less than 24 hrs. He didn’t hardly have a chance. People instantly where like “he’s never going to do it”
I know I’m ranting, my apologies. I think it didn’t happen right away because he was feeling the waters to gauge a reaction. I also think even if he wanted to, it’s not always the easiest for someone to do something like that. There’s showing off on ig and then there is making an of.

I agree with you on the 'feeling the water' element, we're also forgetting about the little twitch clip where somebody brought it up, he clearly got a huge response that got him thinking about it in a more serious light, but then the legal issues hit as you said, all we can do is wait and see

How about fool me 100 times? People on here are fooled over and over again yet still are ready to be fooled again. I am not talking about just Hayes but on threads all over this site.
And no matter how many times they build unrealistic expectations, that only fool themself, they will take out their anger on Hayes and not see in themself the problem.

I never said it was true and I never said it was happening, honestly I don’t think it will happen, I just think it’s a possibility. No one said he has a desire to show his naked body, but it is undeniable that he likes to show off and if people want to pay him to show up a little more, I think he would consider it. Testing the waters because showing off on Instagram and showing off Waymore on a paid app that is borderline porn is crossing a line and is much different than Instagram, what if his family would have issues with that or something, who knows. I don’t think that’s a decision someone just makes right away, some people may some people may not, I think he even said on a twitch live stream something about his dad. I don’t really remember. And what I meant about his legal problems was if you remember he went completely silent during that so obviously he’s not going to start an only fans while getting a lawyer to defend him in a criminal case. That would be stupid. I I don’t think he will do it but I think there’s a chance because he’s got to pay the bills somehow and he hasn’t been working much lately and that would be easy money. He’s hot and he knows that we know he’s hot. There’s so many people jumping down peoples throats on this site, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, at the end of the day it’s nice to think about him starting one, whether he will or not. What I find really funny is if he does, which I know is a big if, all the people who said it will never happen will look pretty silly.

people just jump to believe whenever a guy makes a joke about onlyfans.
