Not tried metal ones, but I have a rubber one which I wear a lot. Like MHD, I often forget I have it on! I bought mine (with a matching cock ring) from Tickleberry:

I don't really see the point. A cock ring is one thing, but a head ring? I bought one actually but it does nothing for me except if I wear it to the gym - in the shower but otherwise, nothing.

Yeah. I think a PA is much better if you want cock jewelery.

Having a head ring when getting an erection is no big deal. It just gets a bit snug but unless you have one too small is harmless. If snug enough it can enhance pleasure for the receiving partner and maybe you.
