I immediately thought of blood pressure as well, or possible weak walls of blood vessels in your brain which could have some very serious impacts. I don't want to scare you and I'm not qualified to say anything about this. I think you'd be better off speaking to a professional about this than listening to what people on a forum say.

I saw the same article. The thing is that it's doesn't happen every time and the headache goes away. I'm on BP meds (have been for years) and it's under control. I am going to talk to my Dr. about it and see what he says.
I'm glad to hear that. I'm certainly not qualified to diagnose anything, I'm not sure anyone is over the internet. I'm a bit of a hypochondriac myself, so I hope I didn't say anything shocking, but it sounds like its worth checking out. In all likelihood its something minor that can be addressed so you can enjoy your orgasms more.

That has happened to me a few times, too. Apparently, it's not terribly unusual. My doc said not to worry about it so long as it isn't a constant occurrence. I know it's tough to not be concerned that the best feeling in the world is accompanied by pain. If it doesn't fade away soon, check with your doctor...

I've had that happen to me twice. Both times it was after a fairly intense workout followed by a wank in the shower. Right at the moment of orgasm. Hurt for a few mins then stopped, but I was sore at the place my head was hurting.
Checked out the Mayo site when this happened, and so far I haven't had that happen again. I'd definitely check with your Dr. about it just to be sure.

Had this a couple years ago. Came while fucking and immediately felt like I was going to pass out while my head exploded. Then it was every time I jerked off, or pushed myself in the gym. Doctor said it was “tension headaches.” After a couple months (yes months) it went away.
UPDATE: So it seems to have gone away. I agree with those who said "stress headaches". It would happen when I would j/o while my husband went away on an errand or I was afraid he would return and I wouldn't get to finish - so I would rush through it. I've had a few wanks since the last time, more relaxed, and nothing happened. Phew. I will mention it to my Dr. next month, though.
