I'm heading off to the airport in a couple of hours, just wrapping up a few loose ends at work (and some last minute Xmas card/gift sending and bill paying!).

It was -3C this morning, but 24 hrs from now where I'll be will be rising from +20 today to +25C on Sunday and according to a friend I'll be visiting, "it's been raining hard and is somewhat muddy", which from previous experience means bring the waders!

I've some quite long drives to do so (some off the beaten track) so despite the recent SUV/4WD threads - given the standard of non primary (and some primary:eek:) Zambian roads and the plentiful mud, I feel I'm justified in my choice of vehicle!

Anyway, happy holidays to all, I may try to log in, but then again...

Happy Hols dong - and safe journey.

May your days be muddy but bright
And may your waders be a reasonable height

    An ode to mud. Thanks.

Seems the Piccadilly line is fouled up, ho hum. Right now, if I were to list the things about the run up to Xmas in London I'd miss...it'd be a short list.
