In May Professor Lesley Regan from St. Mary's Hospital wrote about African women coming to this Paddington Hospital to give birth costing the NHS, some millions.
I wrote to Professor Regan saying I was a private patient at the Lindo Wing paying £150 for a consultation and £250 for blood tests, etc and that the Hopsital ensured I paid every penny before I left.
Regan, obviously keen on sound bites, chose to ignore two of my letters and numerous phone calls.
The Hospital Administator said it was a private matter.
So, gents if your wife or girlfriend is pregnant a cheap flight to London and free medical treatment is seemingly now de rigeur .
Ask for imminent specialist, Lesley Regan !
