Yep.
I drive a truck for 12 hours a day . Multiple stops & I'm doing physical things during the stop. So, no time to sit and eat.
I have a "Six pack" bag... Four compartments for meals, four spaces for protein shakes/drinks/whatever, and a space on top that I usually use for sandwiches, etc.
@Snarky_succubus does the overwhelming majority of my meal prep during the work week.
An average day is 3 sandwiches..., 2 compartments with oatmeal, raisins, egg white protein... Chicken, rice, black beans... Cod & rice.. a protein bar... And a couple of shakes.
Before work, I'll have a cup of overnight oats with skyr , raisins, egg white protein, whole milk. (Set up the night before).
When I get home, I just eat whatever sounds good... Chili, etc...

We just got an instapot for food prep & love it.
Time saver, easy to use, & everything so far has come out awesome.

My suggestion is to ALWAYS prep your meals before you do your daily work routine. The last thing you want to happen is to get hungry, and your only option is to be stuck with the shitty foods and meals that are the standard American diet found in restaurants and convenience stores or worst of all, vending machines.

Yep. I generally will grill my meats for the week. Wrap them in foil and stick in the fridge. Usually will have a salad or maybe green beans, streamed carrots or something with them.

Come home take whatever I'm going to have put it in the oven and let it heat up while I'm in the shower. Then all I have to do is eat and get ready for bed.

Prepping saves valuable time.
