I know many guys have heard this one. "Stop, I don't want anymore." Just wondering, what has your reaction been or what have you said. Have you kept going in order to cum or actually stopped?

    "Just let me finish"
    "Alright, if you're quick"

    I wish I were lying...

Usually though she'll just say 'slow down' and I will...but there are some anatomical issues.

This is either unspeakable modesty or shit-burning soul-shriving cussedness.
    "Issues," Mr. Vincent.
    Et alors ...

If someone says stop, you need to stop.

Of course you stop. There are other options for finishing yourself off if necessary, after all.

I stop and then jack off until I cum. It's that simple, makes everyone happy.

I know when I've said stop, I mean STOP. Right fucking NOW. If a guy didn't heed my wishes I'd at the least push him off. Maybe with a knee to the cock.

However, if I do tell a guy to stop because we've been going a long time or because I'm sore or whatever, I will at least oblige him by giving him a blowjob or handjob until he finishes. Unless he's an asshole about it and tries to keep going or acts offended. Then he gets the aforementioned knee to the cock.

    Remember, that when someone
    Asks you to stop, they
    Probably mean
    It
    So, I'm thinking,
    Technically, it's against the law.

I've always disliked this.. I mean, I'll stop, I can understand if you're getting sore (though, generous as I am, if I was in pain and bleeding with blisters forming on my cock I would probably keep going if that's what my partner wanted)... but a little bit of warning would be so nice and welcome since, if I wanted to, I could finish in short order.. This would be very helpful if I heard something like, "hey, it's starting to chaffe just a little bit" or "I'm getting a little dry" maybe somewhere in the ballpark of 1-3 minutes before you just throw out arbitrarily and without warning "stop". Then we could change what we're doing, change positions, use some more lube/saliva, something... or I could just finish. Without having to slam on the brakes full stop. A bit of warning... a gentler transition... better communication.. is that too much to ask?

Most guys can climax within about 3 minutes of penetration... and I know a lot of them do exactly that because they're focused ONLY on getting themselves off as efficiently as possible. When I have sex I like to prolong things, both because I enjoy it and most of the partners I've had enjoy this as well. If I'm with someone who is acting like she's enjoying it when in reality she's just getting more and more sore and then without warning tells me to stop it's just a bad experience all around. I'm guessing when this happens these women are probably waiting around for the guys to cum so it will be over. Acting like there is nothing wrong the whole time. I see this as a breakdown in communication.

Dave Chappelle had the right idea with his "wrap it up" box. These should be in every bedroom.

I'd say this is a pretty reasonable request. Actually, a lot of times I'll keep going and not say anything because I don't want to upset my partner or I want him to feel good and get off. Then it builds to the point where I have to say stop. I have also said, "hey, I'm starting to get sore," and for the most part, the men I've been with have offered to stop. Which, depending on how bad it's feeling, I'll gratefully accept and give them a blowjob or a handjob (or whatever) or tell them that it's ok to finish. You've got a good point.

However, especially if I'm in a position where I can't simply get off and move, like missionary, when a man will not stop or acknowledge what I've just said, I get furious. Because it's a power thing. Because it's completely disrespectful. Because I would not dream of asking a man to physically hurt himself just to get me off. That's when it's a problem in my mind. To me it's about mutual respect.

Agreed 100%. If you can be in bed fucking someone, you should be able to be honest about what's going on and if you're not enjoying what's happening. I've made the mistake of playing the sexual martyr myself, but I was a lot younger and a lot more insecure. It's one of the nicest parts of being in a relationship with someone that is very loving and gentle with me in general-- even if we're full bore fucking like maniacs, it is more important to him to make sure I'm enjoying myself so I don't feel bad asking him to change positions or finish up or whatever.

In theory, your request is 100% reasonable and should be what happens, but if not, you've got to stay on the safe side and just stop.

I hope this gets overturned very quickly. Especially in this day and age where people meet otherwise strangers on the internet for encounters, have one-night stands, etc. Imagine a situation where two people meet on the internet, hit it off, maybe even go on a date or two. Then they get in bed and the man (top) for whatever reason gets off on being rough and dominant and will not stop. Or if two people are experimenting with S&M and the man(top) will not respond to the safe word because, damn, he's really hot and getting off on it and he's liking the protests. I think we can all agree that the man (top) in this situation is a real jerk in the least. However, what he's doing goes far beyond jerk-- he can be causing severe physical trauma that leaves permanent damage. So now the person that was not-raped and is injured has no legal recourse? That's bullshit.

I do understand that in cases like these it can be very hard to prove what happened one way or the other. However, if there is clearly physical trauma above and beyond what might happen during rough sex, or if there are multiple complaints about the same person. I know that "date rape" is problematic because of people abusing the laws regarding it, but there's got to be at least a way to help some of the people who get abused in this manner.

Be careful not to confuse "Don't stop!" with "Don't! Stop!"

Yup. There really isn't any more to it than that. But I must say, I'm much more likely to be yelling "DON'T stop!" .

Saying stop can be sexy in the right circumstances, such as S&M encounters, so that's why I always devise a safe-word. One of them was "milkshake". Otherwise I just pull out, no questions asked. One girl I was with always expected me to read her mind when she wanted me to stop and would get mad at me for not stopping. I'd ask if she was okay, she'd say yes, and I'd keep going. That's good enough for me -- don't lie about it.

i might not stop, if they did not use THE SAFE WORD. MUHAHAHA.

on a serious note, i'm only 7 inches and some women can't even take that all the way before they are warmed up. ever bump a woman's cervix with a totally innocent thrust, and have them crying a second later? the sex comes to a grinding halt.

oh, and if you're pumping away up their butthole and they tell you to stop, i suggest you listen.
