Is "recreational sex" the thing others may describe as "cleaning the pipes"? If so, I can't imagine it to be a very stable foundation for a relationship - at least it's nothing I'd base a relationship on.
My personal advice would be to ignore the bad feelings and be blunt with her - she strikes me as the type of woman who doesn't get it if you just hint, but needs the truth, no matter whether it'll hurt her or not. So, before she comes over and gets you into a difficult situation, call her and tell her you don't want her to come over, that you're together with another woman, and whatever else you think might keep her from coming over.
Avoid temper tantrums.
