Putin is a thug and a bully. There is blood on his hands from the invasion of Georgia and the continued occupation of parts of that nation. He seeks to bolster support in Russia through a macho image - pictures of him on horseback, with his shirt off, swimming, and now on a bike. It is propaganda for a man who continues to do much evil.
