I forget the journal it's published in but there is research showing that height and penis size are indeed positively correlated, just as height and weight are.

That being said, the correlation was not very strong which means that a lot of men do not follow that general rule.

There's also a positive correlation between ice-cream sales and instances of shark attacks.

Positive correlation means nothing without control, and in this instance, I'd say there's certainly none of that

I'm 6'1, 3.5 inches long soft (i've never gotten a good soft girth measurement), 6 inches hard; about 5 inches around when hard.

It's not small, but it's not as big as people expect someone of my height to have, which has caused me some problems here and there (ie-it looks small comparatively).

My boyfriend is 5'8; about 5.5 inches long soft, 8 inches long hard; about 4 around soft and 6.25 around hard (and yes, I measured those myself using actual, replicable, accurate methods).

There are a number of genes which govern layout of the body as it develops. Notably hox genes, which we appear to share with many vertebrates and invertebrates including insects...

They trigger at different stages of development. Height is obviously connected with leg length and spine length, but those two aren't even totally interdependent on each other. Penis size would be a little further disconnected.

It's not that there's no relationship. It's that it's rather loose...

But the overall perception - height - penis lenght, is in the benifit of someone smaller in height, if his is not overweight.
A 6" on a body of 5'6" looks enormous, while a 6.5" on a 6'6" looks average. All the famous porn-actors are below the 6' limit.

Given a large enough sample you might find a correlation between height and penis size but there are probably enough men outside those stats you’d need a truly huge sample and the sample selection would have to be completely random otherwise you would get a lot of guys like me volunteering and messing with the curve.
I’m only 5’6” which places me well below the average height for a white male yet I am well above average in length and girth.

I will tell you there is no direct connection between height and the size of a guys junk. I've seen thousands of soft penis overall and hundreds of them in a clinical setting. I see very tall, built guys who will display a 2 or 3 inch soft penis. Even when subjected to warm water for extended time, there won't be much change in it. I'll then see a shorter guy who will easily be 6 to 8 inches soft. I hang well myself and I am tall but I'm more the exception. The longest soft penis I ever saw was on a very short guy who was a professional wrestler. I spoke with him in a locker room in Las Vegas when he was preparing for a fight. He was probably only about 5'7" but his soft penis must of been somewhere between 8 and 10 inches. I've seen many penis and cannot determine there is a connection.
