Height?

I figured this should go in the "et cetera" section because... I didn't think it should really go anywhere else!

But I figure.. I >was< about 6&#39;8 a few months ago, but it would appear i&#39;ve hit another growth spurt and i&#39;m 6&#39;9 now, I turned 17 on the 15th, and I was wondering, if there are any of you as tall as me, did you have growth spurts into your late teens/early 20&#39;s?

At 17 I was 5&#39;4" tall. At 53 I am 5&#39; 10", I reached this height at the age of 24.

Well I was looking at pictures of me when I was younger recently and I shot up (obviously) but have never really measured my height, except one time in the doctors when I was about 13/14 maybe. I am around 5&#39;8" though, 5&#39;9" at a push but I think closer to 5&#39;8" (I&#39;m the same height as my mum, who is 5&#39;8", maybe a tad taller).

My uncle seems gigantic as does my mum&#39;s boyfriend, although my uncle isn&#39;t even 6&#39;, he&#39;s about 5&#39;10"/5&#39;11 he&#39;s pretty big built (not from the gym or anything either, although he&#39;s in shape, not hugely muscular). My mum&#39;s boyfriend is the same height as me yet much broader. 6&#39;9 must be crazy tall. Most guys I know are all around my size, the difference is negligible.

I finished growing upwards (6&#39;2) by 15 or 16. however, I was a lot less heavily-built when I was 16. I don&#39;t think my skeleton and musculature finally stabilized (in the proverbial "brick shithouse" form) until a few years later - I remember in particular that my chest and shoulders were still broadening (painfully) even when I was about 19. ultimately you are very unlikely to find any two people whose bodies have reached full adult development in precisely the same ways.

well, unfortunately, i keep getting taller, but my penis sure dosen&#39;t. IT apparently stopped growing... pretty shortly after it started.

I was 5&#39;10" at 16 and topped out at 6&#39;2" around the time I turned 19. I put on muscle mass steadily after that though, without really trying to.

I think that I was about 6&#39;2" at 16. My growth spurt [height] came about a year or so earlier; however, that was the year I had to deal with the feet. They grew from say a 9 to a 12. I was always stumbling over them. Talk about being uncoordinated&#33;

By the time that I went off to college, I was 6&#39;4".

Like everyone else seems to be saying - it&#39;s impossible to tell when a person will stop growing. I myself reached adult height at about 16 (5&#39;11" btw) but my penis kept growing into my college years - I gained the last half inch slowly over several years between 16 and 20.

I&#39;m sure your height presents some challenges, but I hope you are happy being tall - most of my family is tall and I know I would have liked to have grown a few more inches in height AND length&#33; Good luck&#33;

At 17 I was only about 6&#39; tall, I guess. At 27, I&#39;m 6&#39; 11-1/2".

I didn&#39;t reach my full height until I was probably 23 or so.
