Hellish airports

Speaking of So/Central America: the airport in Guatemala City was the first time I had to navigate around live poultry to get to my gate.

Operative words: "first time"

I'm not nearly as well travelled as some of you and I've had reliable service on all my trips.

That said, as easy as it was to navigate through Eleftherios Venizelos airport in Athens it felt like the gate was located at the far end of the Aegean.

Biggest hassle was a twenty minute argument at Pearson intl in Toronto trying to explain that my aunt couldn't produce her Canadian Citizenship information because she was not a Canadian citizen. Go figure.

Even worse when you have to go through BOTH on the same day! UGH!!!

Best airport experience is in Bahrain. Bahrain International - great people, easy layout, and a good Duty Free and lounges with tons of chilled beer!
