Why has it become a common and accepted practice not to respond to legitimate emails/messages? I'm not talking "You're Hot" or "Wanna F@#*" type crap. I'm talking about "Hey, I'm interested in learning about ...., or other similar questions.

Ignoring has become the norm, rather than an undesirable action. :frown1:

Wish people had the integrity to at least reply back back with "Sorry, can't help", etc.

I think it depends how you were raised, we had to write thank you notes for any gift within 24 hours of receiving it. I have also worked in a business atmosphere where all phone messages and e-mails must be attended to within a 24 hour period (with the exception of when you leave a message that you are out of the office until _____ and if you need immediate assistance please e-mail or call __________) I have carried this over to my personal life as well. But I'll play the devils advocate, maybe this person is away or not on line. If that is not the case they are just dumb and rude.

Name and shame CountryGuy. Poor manners is inexcusable and should be pilloried. Your such a decent chap whay wouldn't someone respond to your missives unless they were unable or thoroughly ill brought up.

Aww, you guys are great :biggrin1:

I don't want to name and shame, it's really not productive. They know who they are. (nudeyorker, they've since posted multiple times :frown1:)

Now let's see, where did I put the notice for Tardis:confused: OH!! *reaches inside wranglers- "Yep, still there, unanswered *

One thing to note, they were all male, so maybe they thought I was trying to pick up on them . Although 2 were along the lines of "Hey, I saw you discussing this product (health supplement) and would like to ask some questions? Yep, sounds like a pick up line to me , lol

I respond to unsolicited emails if I feel like it. Just because someone typed something to me doesn't mean I owe them a response. D'you know how many freakin' emails I get a day?
