• Japanese descent (don't speak the language very well)
• Live in Seattle
• Work in the software industry

What's the %gay/straight thing that shows up in the profile mean? Is that:

• Percentage of sexual encounters?
• Odds of hooking up with either?
• The crowd you hang out with?

Also, and no offense to the people who run this site, but
is it safe to leave your email/IM address public? Has anyone ended up on spam lists? In general, what kind of people email you?

Other than occasional snerty trolls there have been few reports of PM or e-mail problems at LPSG. Just be aware that this is the internet and you should guard against posting personal things like address or phone number.
