    Hello!

I'm a newbie, wondered how many other "mature" members there are here (yeah, really bad pun, I know) :D

I'm 55, my wife 53 - we're loving life - certainly including our sex life - more than ever!!

Yeah, there are some differences - lol - but there areways to work around them - and have even more fun!! :)

Would like to hear from others that consider yourself "mature" - pick your own boundaries...

I'm collecting a pension or two, and have at least one masturbation every day, and usually one of them is with a partner. Sometimes we 69, sometimes I get fucked, and I can come while the guy's fucking me in the ass.

From my wedding night at age 22, - every woman I've had sex with, and some men, I've been afraid enough that I have erectile dysfunction. It's got to be mental, because once I know the partner, or whenever I'm alone, I'm as hard as a rock. Now I get 50mg tablets of generic Viagra for about US$1.55, and that takes the edge off my mental fears, and I'm fine.

I'm thinking that at this rate, I might get down to only one orgasm per 24 hours when I'm 105.............

    Ditto.
She thinks it's the best it's ever been - I think her memory's going.....

    Suggestions:

    Stay busy,
    eat and exercise properly,
    practice moderation.

good to hear from you guys...

just got back from a hotel weekend package - delayed birthday present.. :D

we were talking about how lucky we both are - many - probably half - of our friends in our age group, rarely, if ever, have sex... :(

don't understand why they let it happen (and I know sometimes it is physical and can't be helped, but many of these aren't).

Just glad we're not there - since the kids moved out.... lol

It's great having you with us, buddy. My wife and I were married 29 years before she had me followed and got pictures of my going down on her decoy. I haven't remarried since divorce and am very unlikely to, even though my sex drive is stronger than it's ever been. I'm 76.

The internet and I are bosom buddies and it keeps me semi or fully erected on sites such as LPSG. I'm happy for you and your wife and know sex is much more fun with a partner who enjoys it as much as you do.

Backatcha, re. pick your own boundaries, KT9. I'm receptive to any question re. the effects of age on sex or any other subject that comes to mind.

    Best wishes,
    Luke

I'm 59, divorced, and haven't had sex since I left the ex-wife 17 years ago.

Many of my generation do not have sex outside marriage.

I'm 66. I still have nighttime hard-ons and am easily aroused. I enjoy it. I'm amazed that this is still happening at "my age." Most of the sex I have is with men of my general age, and I usually outperform them. They sorta look up to me (so to speak). ;)

    Here are some reference articles:

    http://www.aarpmagazine.org/lifestyle/rela.../great_sex.html,

    http://www.arhp.org/healthcareproviders/cm...P/variables.cfm,

    http://www.hon.ch/News/HSN/512964.htmlhttp...HSN/512964.html,

    These are interesting.
For men - the 50 % level seems to be 75 years of age.
At 75, over 60 % of our women are not participating, but there are MANY reasons.

This another area where gals & guys are different. I think single men over 50 should help the women out as often as possible but;women are different, and their desires should be listened to and respected. If they're not interested - leave 'em alone.
Hafta say tho - Arizona has some VERY good-looking Grannies !
    :)
Too bad they didn't invent the "Pink" pill before the "Blue" pill.
    :(
When the Pink one becomes available - Watch Out !!!

orionsword57: I'm 75, have my health, and while tragically widowed almost 30 yeras ago, have enjoyed an active sex life ever since. Frequency and stamina have faded gradually, but my lady still thinks I'm "exceptional" for our age. Exercise, limited booze/sugar, etc... and SINGING(!) has prolonged my ability to be active in all pahses of my life. I thank God every day as well.

    ATTABoy !

Yup, music can be a comfort, don't go anywhere without it (but I'm a lousy singer).

    You're a Tennor ? or a Bass ?
Where do you express yourself - church choir, bedroom, opera house - ANWHERE ???

    Yup,
there's probably one or two ladies in a Prayer Group pullin' for you too.
Wise - to use the favors bestowed........
Where would we be if the women weren't interested in the Baton Rouge ?
    It's a prime motivator.

It's really no joke. Singing has been proven to extend one's life by as many as 3-10 years. You could look it up. I'm both Tenor and Bass, but don't have timbre (or timber) I used to. I sing in a small barbershop chorus and once in a while as a soloist at a local church. Did sing once during sex at her request, but we laughed so hard, we went back to basics.

    Likewise,
what do you mean by "don't have timbre" ?
    Describe "timbre".

Didn't find any non-religious "Singing = Life Extension" references to share.

This reminds me of the old guy in the "Jerimiah Johnson" movie (Steven Gierasch as "Del Gue" ?) who liked to sing-out praise....

Hello all, older hung male here also. Widowed, 55, living on Ocracoke Island, NC. Why is it that I also have started hearing the comment from my female sex partners, "do you have trouble getting that up?" LOL I usually just answer, "well, not untill now!"

"timbre" is spelled this way to differentiate it from the wooden definition.

It defines both the strength with which one is able to sustain a note and the breadth of the sound. One hears the term "thinness" of sound, which means that the voice has little timbre. When one holds a note for a length of time, if it wavers (by this, I don't mean the vibratto of opera singers.... because poor timbre causes a loss or a vacillation of pitch), one has lost their timbre.

Aren't'cha glad ya asked for all that folderol?

Absolutely! A clever response to a dumb question.

I am 64, I am a Cardiac/Diabetic "Basket Case". My sex life ended at 12:07 (Noon) June 07, 1991 with a massive cardiac event ending in the first of 2 Out OF Hospital, Cardiac Arrests, CABG Defib Implantation etc. etc.

Good to hear from the mature side of the board, I find the other ignoring my contributions.

Respect for one's elders only comes with elderness... don't feel like the Lone Ranger. We're not really "in play" here, so the buzz isn't there, and frankly, we don't provide it either. The responses I get from the very few friends I've made here are enough, due to the obvious quality of the person as evidenced by their posts.
