Only family history -
Father,
Uncle,
Cousin,
all died due to Pancreatic Cancer at a young age.
Wow.
Bummer.
Did they have any children - your Uncle and Cousin ?
Do you have any sisters, brothers or children ?
Went to Holiday Party events, did do cocktails.
Did (rarely) become intoxicated. "Holidays" did not include events like "Garbage Pick-up Day", "The lawn go mowed today ?, "PAYDAY !!!. I mean real, and infrequent "Days of the Year".
Roger that, so...
You didn't drink very much....
I was a smoker, HEAVY !
I also worked in a very high pressure management position which REQUIRED 12 to 14 hour days, many occasions of 24 hours a day for 2-3 days per week.
I blame myself for being too available to my (employer) supervisors.
and..........................
SMOKING, SMOKING, SMOKING................................
Ug,
Okay.
We shouldn't smoke or drink if we can manage without...
Pancreatitis ?
Probably due to the lack of exercise, and
serious weight gain which occured after the the first Heart Attack and CABG and
M-m-m-m-m,
most of us follow a regular exercise program and eat properly (we hope).
Pancreatitis is very nasty - {we should all pray for the survival and recovery of those who
acquire this malady}presently an incurable, terminal disease.
What's "CABQ" ?
#2.....................
Maybe I just wasn't a good enough of a person;
earlier in my life. (Rationale)
H-m-m-m-m.
Seems to me one can always "wipe-out" past transgressions if one behaves properly in later life.... (Don't tell my Ma Honey but - I'M COUNTING ON IT !!!!!

If you are hanging around with friends who deny this concept you need to
Change Friends !!
One of the reasons why we gain so much knowledge as we age is to help with this situation. By staying an active member of LPSG and responding to these questions with advice you are serving those who follow, and helping them NOT make mistakes which you may - or may not - have made.
This is a
Good Thing.
When one is young, forgiving is difficult.
The
Big Biker is no longer Young.
She/He forgives easily.
None of us knows what happens after being welcomed by the Big Biker In The Sky - except for those who have exercised and built up their Time Bank and are rudely returned (down here) to complete their "mission".
I believe it would behoove us all to infuse our Time Bank by exercising regularly - as Mr. Blackwood suggests. There is a
possibility that if one exercises, the
Crew keeps track; and if you arrive prematurely at the Gate - and have built up your Time Line by exercising - you may receive further time and another chance....
Is smoking really that bad ???????????????????
Sorry Mr. Blackwood, but...
Yes Sir.
It is a nasty habit.
