Help! How To Tell If Leather Is Real?

I recently aquired these 8 'leather' cushion covers. The person that gave them to me didn't know if they were real. They feel real and kinda small like leather. Is there a test you can do to tell?

I don't even want to tell you what you could be smelling that reminds you of leather. But the easiest thing to do is look at the reverse side(If possible) to see if it's suede. If not give it a scratch with your fingernail. Pleather will not leave a mark.

Thx yes it does look like suede on the inside.

hold a lighter against it. real leather won't show any change (of course, don't hold the flame under it for ten minutes). If it's plastic like, then it'll show bubbles.

Wander a cow by it. If the cow starts mooing like mad, then it is a sign that the cow's kinfolk is now your cushion covering.
