Hydrate, avoid alcohol and cheeses - anything fermented - a tryciclic for headaches? Jesus!!! For migraines, the below is great advice (except that the anti-convulsants tend to work better with tension headaches and the anti-depressants with neuropathic pain; triptans are exclusively effective as a first-line intervention for a classic migraine. Ergotomine and it's derivatives (exclusive LSD) are increasingly being prescribed for migraines, most often out-patient, under the brand-name Migrainol. Effective, but EXPENSIVE. Seek second and third opinions; could be neuropathic pain - could be anything from hypertensive crises from diet and ssri's to depression itself.
These are VERY potent meds we're talking about; yes, diseases desperate grown... there is no cure-all and I am not qualified to give you medical advice. Just make sure you're seeing doctors who are up on their journals, and are responsible with the pad.

First of all, doctors aren't stupid. People are complex and what works for some doesn't work for all. It is interesting you've tried antidepressants and anticonvulsants, both classes have migrane prevention as an off label use or side effect. Is there more going on than headaches? Interesting these would be the first choices to try rather than something like sumatriptan, which is specifically for bad headaches and doesn't have so many adverse effects as the others (unless you have cardiovascular issues)
